Background and Experience
Angela Golden is the founder and current trumpet player in Second City Brass. Second City Brass has performed at many private events in addition to Merit School of Music, many Chicago Public High Schools and more.
Angela is a graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, earning a degree of Bachelors of Music in Performance.
Angela has performed and soloed with the Evanston Symphony, Park Ridge Civic Orchestra, Exploration Orchestra, Chicago Sinfonietta, Columbus IN Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific and more.
Angela has studied with Stephen Burns, William Scarlett, Former Third Trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Richard Schmitt, Former Principal Trombone of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Marcus Goddard, Principal Trumpet of the Vancouver Symphony, John Rommel and Edmund Cord, Professors of Trumpet at Indiana University.
Angela also works at 98.7WFMT, Chicago's Classical Experience.

- Has experience in orchestra, band, brass choir, brass band, brass quintet, jazz band and chamber groups
