Background and Experience

Most of my technical education with the violin has been in the classical realm- however, I love fiddle, and thoroughly enjoy teaching and playing from that perspective as well. My husband and I just put out a CD last year of Irish/Canadian/American fiddle music and hymns entitled "No More a Stranger."

Some of my experience with fiddle includes studying for a brief time with Rudi Booher (national fiddle champion) and Tony Ludiker (national fiddle champion), as well as performing with the "Bow-Benders," a wonderful fiddle group from N. Idaho, and performing with the Ellithorpe family at the "Rockin' B Ranch" in Spokane, Washington. And of course, countless jam sessions with my Grandpa, and various other people.
