Background and Experience
I am a professional teacher with The University of Alabama's Community Music School since 2001. I am a traditional teacher, teaching elementary-aged students through adult levels. In addition to teaching, I am a performer whom performs nationally as well records operas internationally. All students are required to register with CMS in order to reserve a lesson time.

Current and Former Student accomplishments: Bachelor of Music/Master of Music in Violin Performance at Illinois State University, Suzuki certification, Peoria Symphony audition winner, Illinois District and Alabama All-State Orchestra appointments, Illinois Christian Music Association competition and The University of Alabama Community Music School scholarship winner.
I serve as the assistant concertmaster of the Ohio Light Opera. Member of Gulf Coast, Macon, and Tupelo Symphony Orchestras. I have performed with the College Light Opera Company, Greenville, Huntsville, Knoxville, Meridian, New Sigmund Romberg Orchestra, Seattle, Tuscaloosa and Volgograd Philharmonic Orchestra. I have recorded six operettas, one orchestra album and one operetta DVD with Albany Records and are sold internationally. I also perform in weddings, receptions throughout Tuscaloosa as a soloist as well as with my chamber players. I studied at The University of Alabama and holds degrees from Western Washington University and Illinois State University.
