Background and Experience

I am an interdisciplinary artist/composer, graduated from the University of North Texas. My two great passions are Music & Architecture. I've spent over 5 years drawing building plans, and other architectural designs while pursuing my music degree. My Bachelor of Arts in Music is focused on music composition, orchestral & choral conducting, as well as theory. I grew up around music all my life, as a multi-instrumentalist. Beginning music at the age of 10, I was always ... interested in learning new instruments. I began with the recorder, saxophone, then tuba, and it wasn't until I began learning guitar that I started to find direction in my songwriting style. Afterward, I found an interest in playing piano, singing, and composition. Throughout my time at UNT, my entire perception of music was changed, and I devoted more time to composing music for orchestral ensembles, including music for flute, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, oboe, piano, solo voice, and Full Choir; most of which I've conducted for it's performance. Currently, I also work as a drafting artist for many architects in the DFW area. I'm exploring the possibility of a collaboration project involving the crossover of sound-scape with visual design.
